From Bored Employee to Multi 6-Figure Digital CEO (By Accident)
I didn’t set out to build a six-figure business. I just wanted to not hate my life.
I wasn’t the girl with a 10-year plan.
I didn’t dream of becoming a CEO.
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to “monetize my personal brand.”
I just wanted to quit my job, book a flight, and stop feeling like my life was slipping through my fingers.
Because, back then, I was tired.
Tired of wasting my life in a job that gave me anxiety.
Tired of Googling “how to make money online” and getting pitched an MLM.
Tired of hearing people say, “Just be grateful you have a job” when my soul was screaming for more.
I didn’t want more status. I wanted more life.
And I knew I couldn’t find it in a 9-5 job.
So I started tiny.
I taught myself how to freelance.
Started offering blog writing, admin help, and social media services to small business owners.
Got my first few clients (people who wanted me to write articles for their blogs)
My first invoice was $100. I thought I was rich. 😂
I didn’t have a website.
I was constantly sending proposals on freelance websites.
I wasn’t getting huge gigs yet.
But I kept going. Kept showing up. Kept learning.
And slowly, I started to realize… I could actually do this.
Over time, my clients grew. My income grew.
I built systems. I raised my prices. And I hit six figures as a freelancer and virtual assistant.
Then came the next phase: digital products.
I took what I’d learned and turned it into an online course.
My first launch made $16,000 in one week.
In less than 6 months I hit $100K.
Not from ads. Not from a massive team.
Just from sharing what I knew, helping people avoid the mistakes I made, and learning how to sell the right way.
From there, I kept building my social media brand and digital product business.
Launched more courses, guides, and affiliate links.
And just like that, the “online thing” became a full-blown business.
I make $15K–$40K/month doing what I love, from my laptop, wherever I want to be.
And I help others do the same, obviously. Without the hype, the hustle, or the cringe.
But the craziest part is that I never planned any of this.
Here’s what I wish I’d known sooner:
You don’t need more credentials.
You don’t need to feel ready.
You don’t need to know exactly where it’s going.
You just need to start.
Because every freedom-filled life starts with a choice:
To stop settling.
To try something new.
To bet on yourself, even when no one else gets it yet.
If you’re sitting there feeling stuck, lost, or secretly Googling “how to quit my job” under your desk… I’ve been there.
And I promise, the life you want isn’t as far away as it feels.
It’s not going to be perfect.
It might get messy.
But it will be worth it.
Because one day you’ll look back and say:
“I didn’t even know where it was going…
I just knew I couldn’t stay where I was.”
